Cockle Bay Cottage Holiday Rental - Relax and unwind in this 17th century cosy cottage
Welcome to Cockle Bay Cottage Holiday Rental

Cockle Bay Cottage is a 1 bedroom 17th century cosy cottage, situated on a quiet lane less than 2 minutes walk from the heart of the historic village of Heysham, near Morecambe.  It is also only a couple of minutes walk to the beach.  The cottage is full of character and charm, with beamed ceilings, a cast iron gas fire, roll top bath and two tier decked garden offering spectacular views across Morecambe Bay to the Lakeland Fells.

The garden, which is set on different levels, has a patio with Bistro set and wooden steps that lead up to a two tier decked area with bench and tables.  This area is mostly protected by natural stone walls so you can sit and enjoy the stunning sea views and watch the sun go down.

This is a cottage that is suitable for both Summer and Winter breaks.  Heysham in winter is very atmospheric, especially with high tides and stormy breezes!  Have a seat at the Half Moon Bay Cafe and watch the tide rolling in, (whilst sitting by the log burner with a nice hot cup of coffe in your hands!).

We hope you will come and enjoy a short break at our little cottage.
